Oscars 2014: 10 of the all-time best Academy Awards ceremony moments From Jack leching over Jennifer to John Wayne's farewell and Brando's no-show, these are just some of the greatest moments at the Oscars ceremonies ever Share 1259 2 in Share 4 Email Peter Bradshaw theguardian.com ,  Friday 28 February 2014 14.19 GMT Jump to comments  ( 120 ) And in at No 1 … Jennifer Lawrence meets Jack Nicholson 1. Moving to Houston? Welcome! You’re not alone. The Houston population is nearing four million people.  A big reason for the population growth is new jobs.  In fact one of the largest companies in the world, Exxon, is opening an office here that will employ 27,000 new Houstonians. Little more than two years later, the schoolteacher sailed back, having published his first two books , “A Boy’s Will” (1913) and “North of Boston” (1914). He had become Robert Frost. The modernists remade American poetry in less than a decade, but like the Romantics they were less a group than a scatter of ill-favored and sometimes ill-tem
